What we fix
Residential driveways, HOA entrances, commercial yards, parking barriers. Swing, sliding, iron, wood, and the access control behind them.
Swing gates
Single and dual leaf, arm and articulated operators. The most common gate in the Bay Area, and the one a shifted post throws out of alignment first.
Sliding gates
V-track, cantilever, and roller systems. When one drags or grinds, it is almost always the wheels or the track — not the motor you were quoted for.
Iron & custom gates
Estate and hillside entries, most of them fabricated one at a time. We repair what is there rather than sell you a replacement for it.
Wood & composite
Cedar, redwood, and composite cladding over a steel frame. Wood gains weight in the rain, and the frame is what ends up paying for it.
Pedestrian gates
Side gates, courtyards, and building entries. Usually a lock or a strike, occasionally a door closer that has quietly given up.
Access & safety
Keypads, intercoms, loop detectors, and the safety devices that stop a gate closing on a car. UL 325 requires them. We test the whole loop, every visit.
Gold marks the part we replace most often on that gate type.
Brands on the truck
If your operator wears one of these badges, the parts that usually fail are already on the truck when we pull up.
Don't know your brand? Neither do most people. Send us a photo of the box and we'll tell you.
Before and after
This one was dragging on a shifted track and had a sheared hinge pin. It did not need a new gate. Drag the handle.
1 / 5
All five pairs are stand-in photos. Real before/after shots are the highest-return asset on this page — shot list is in the file header.
Dispatch & pricing
No "call for pricing." No surprise trip fee at the door.
$00
Credited in full against the repair if you go ahead. If you don't, you keep the diagnosis and owe nothing more.
2pm
Call before 2pm on a weekday and we're at your gate that afternoon. After 2pm, you're first on tomorrow's board.
8–5
Those are our real hours. Repairs are approved by you in writing before any work starts.
We don't run a 24-hour line. If you call at 11pm, you'll get voicemail — and we'd rather you hear that from us now than find out at 11pm.

If your city isn't listed, call anyway. We'll tell you straight whether we can reach you, and if we can't, who can.
Straight answers
If you call before 2pm on a weekday, yes — that's the whole point of the cutoff. Call after 2pm and you're first on the next morning's board. We'll tell you which one you are on the phone, not after you've waited all afternoon.
No. We're a family shop, not a dispatch network. Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm. If your gate is stuck open and you need it secured tonight, call us anyway and we'll tell you how to manually release it — free, over the phone.
The diagnostic fee, and nothing else. No trip charge stacked on top, no "minimum labor." If you go ahead with the repair, the diagnostic comes off the invoice entirely.
Only if it's true. Most gates we're called out to don't need replacing — they need a $200 part and an hour of attention. If yours genuinely is past saving, we'll show you why, in person, and you can get a second opinion before you spend anything.
Parts and labor on everything we touch, for 90 days, in writing on the invoice. If the same fault comes back inside that window, we come back at no charge.
Ninety seconds on the phone is usually enough to know what's wrong.
